Langhe DOC Chardonnay G.D. 2016
Damilano
"GD" is dedicated to the Damilano family pioneer, Giacomo, who in the 1920s intuited our home vineyards’ vocation and
tremendous potential, laying the foundations of our cellar.
About the Vineyard
The Langhe Chardonnay G.D. comes from 25-year-old vines on calcareous, clay and sand soils in the Langa area. Chardonnay is a vigorous grape that is consistently productive, and creates complex wines suitable for aging in wood.
Tasting Notes
Rich straw yellow with golden tinges. The bouquet is elegant with intense notes of white peach, and citrus fruit, beautifully blended with toasted fragrances. Soft on the palate, enveloping, extremely fresh and rich with long final and light spicy notes.
Food Pairing
Chardonnay is a perfect as aperitif and ideal with light meat dishes, and fish.
