Grappa Riserva is a fine grappa, made from the pomace of Cabernet, Merlot, Pinot and Friulano grapes from the alpine foothills of Friuli. Smooth, complex flavors result from an average of five years aging in Slavonian oak barrels.
Tasting Notes
The nose is fragrant, delicate and harmonious. On the palate, this grappa is intense and complex, but with a smooth texture and mouth feel, followed by a long finish.

- Production Process

- Distillation:
The grape pomace is collected within 24 hours of the winemaking process and it gets stored and sealed in underground vats during the period of time between September and October. The distillation process starts in October and lasts 24 hours a dayuntil May. This basic grappa used for the Riserva version is made in a discontinuous, vacuum-packed steam still. The grappa is thereafter transferred to the post-modern plant in Bassano del Grappa where it is brought to its final stage (alcoholic reduction to 40% and cold filtration) and bottled.

Aged for an average of 5 years in Slavonian oak barrels.
